Perhaps not, given that it moves and changes, it may be very dangerous to be over it. Imagine if it changed it's dimensional plane!
Anyway, flying would mean you spend all your time passing through the gasses from the Bog of Eternal Stench, that assumes the wind blows in your direction all the time, which it would.
I think you'd be better off walking all things considered.
